I recently participated in a broadcast panel discussion on Huffington Post Live on the media’s coverage of the Steubenville rape trials and the way people view victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. I had a great time and the discussion, which lasted about 30 minutes, was lively and interesting. Don’t fret if you missed [...]

Just before the CBIM Alaska training began, I received a call to participate in an on-air discussion about the Steubenville, Ohio rape case. Filling in for one of my MVP colleagues, I was interviewed by WESA, an NPR affiliate in Pittsburgh, PA who’s show Essential Pittsburgh was hosting a special episode on the case. On [...]
On January 9th I co-facilitated a Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM) training with a group of high school coaches from various parts of Alaska. This was a follow-up training to the one done in August, this time with more coaches, all of whom seemed excited to take the program back to their local communities!

I was on the panel with folks from campuses here in Massachusetts as well as Delilah Rumburg, Chief Executive Officer at PCAR (Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape) who had [...]
On October 1st, I was interviewed by Fox News in Boston about preventing domestic violence on college campuses. I was asked to do the interview by Jane Doe, the Massachusetts coalition against sexual assault and domestic violence.
The folks at Fox were interested in the topic because of the murder committed by Clayton Whittemore of [...]
On October 23rd I co-lead a modified Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM) train-the-trainers for Athletic Directors at the Boston Centers for Youth & Family (BCYF). The CBIM curriculum was modified a bit to accommodate the fact that the BCYF Athletic Directors work with both boys and girls in their programs. The session went well and [...]
On October 18th I co-lead a series of MVP trainings with student athletes at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I was filling in for someone who had completed 2 days of training before I arrived. In my time there, I was able to have some good conversations with a couple of the teams at UMass.
